I incorporate leaves and twigs, shells and seaweed, grasses and seeds into the warp threads of handwoven wallhangings. Through my weaving, I create a lasting environment for the natural things that inspire me, so they can continue to exist in a setting that enhances their natural beauty. By combining contrasting textures, shining rayon and silk with soft and fuzzy wool and acrylic, I create imaginary landscapes and seascapes in fiber.
From Elmira take I-86W to exit 49 at Big Flats. Turn right off the exit and turn right on Daniel Zenker Drive. Drive one mile, then turn left on Hibbard Road. Take the third left onto Groff Road. Go one block and turn right on Flint Drive. Go one block and turn left on Reynolds Drive Ext. (a dirt road) Look for a three car garage on the left and a red balloon.
