We really could use your help as hosts or hostesses for the Elmira Open Studio Tour.
After 8 years we have decided to take a break in 2011. Check back here later this year and we will let you know about our plans for 2012.
It's hard for us artists to demonstrate our talents and answer the door, keep the snacks out, count guests, point visitors in the right direction, and answer Tour questions at the same time.
We need your skills as our assistants during the Tour. Any amount of time you have would be fine. We are open 7 hours the first day and 5 hours the second day. You can work ALL or SOME, or you can split your time between several of us. You can choose which of us you would like to volunteer for, or be assigned where you are needed most - just let us know.
